Yes, both our downtown hotel location and our short term stay residences at the Railyard are in vibrant and very walkable neighborhoods. Palace Modern on the Plaza is centrally located one block off our famous and historic plaza which hosts many free community events such as the annual Santa Fe Indian Market, the Summer Scene music series, and the daily Artisan program at the Palace of the Governors, and is surrounded by restaurants, galleries, museums and boutiques. It is also a 10-minute walk to Ft. Marcy Park, the home of events like the annual burning of Zozobra and the Wine and Chile Fiesta.
Our Residences at Palace Modern are located in the heart of the Railyard District, which hosts our weekly Farmers and Artisan Market, the Summer Scene music series, and the annual International Folk Art Market. This neighborhood is also teaming with restaurants, breweries, craft cocktail lounges, boutiques and galleries galore.

While we do not operate a spa on site, Palace Modern has an exclusive relationship with the Inn of the Five Graces, a Relais & Chateaux property a 10-minute walk from our property.  This relationship allows our guests to book a wide range of spa services, such as facials, massage, skin and body treatments, as well as experiences such as sound baths, guided medication, yoga, energy readings, and more.  Spa guests are also welcome to use their private steam rooms, and their Sun and Moon Deck featuring a refreshing dipping pool, firepits, and lounges. Our daily amenities fee, similar to what other hotels refer to as a resort, hospitality, or facilities fee, allows us to provide a number of conveniences that are included with every stay but that often incur charges at other properties, including:

• Complimentary parking with unlimited in-and-out access;
• Exclusive access to spa and fitness facilities at our sister property, Inn of the Five Graces
• Free early check-in or late check out when logistically possible;
• Guest-only discounts and offers at our neighboring businesses;
• In-room refrigerator, stocked Keurig coffee maker, luxury Matouk linens and robes, and a reusable glass water bottle in each room,
• Access to our Amenities room with water and ice machines, extra blankets and pillows, toiletries, towels, mugs, and more; and

We understand that many guests love to travel with their pets.  And while we love animals, our rooms at Palace Modern on the Plaza are not designated pet-friendly.  However, we are happy to support those traveling with an assistance animal and follow the ADA's policies for accommodating service animals that are under their handler's control and are housebroken.  
The Residences at Palace Modern can often accommodate your furry friend, which would incur an additional cleaning fee of $50 to ensure the space is fresh and comfortable for the next guest. 
 

Your room rate includes complimentary parking at Santa Fe’s convention center parking lot, which is about 2 blocks away from the hotel.  Your parking pass allows unlimited, in-and-out access to this covered and secured lot for the entirety of your stay.  There are also plenty of paid parking alternatives close by, including on-street, metered parking and private parking garages.
 

While we do not have a gym on property, Palace Modern has an exclusive relationship with the Inn of the Five Graces, a Relais & Chateaux property a 10-minute walk through town.  This relationship allows our guests to book access to their beautifully-appointed cardio gym and strength studio, which also grants you access to private steam rooms, and their Sun and Moon Deck featuring a refreshing dipping pool, firepits, and lounges.  Contact us at yourhost@palacemodern.com for more information.

For the safety and privacy of our guests, access to our hotel space and guest rooms is available only to hotel guests and staff.  However, picking up your packaged meals from our on-site restaurants is as easy as a walk to the end of the hall! 
 

Our 16-room hotel is the ideal size for groups looking for a luxurious and private space for corporate events, wellness intensives, family gatherings, wedding activities, board retreats, and more. Yes.  Because Palace Modern features a contactless service model, the door code you will receive prior to your arrival date will provide access to the main entrance, the lobby door, and your guest room for smooth as late as needed on your check-in date.
